Position:
Managing Partner
REW Managing Partner Mark Robinius serves as the Managing Partner of REW and has more than 25 years of experience in both criminal defense and prosecuting complex litigation matters with major wins on his resume.
Managing Partner
25 Years
While a law student at University of Tulsa School of Law, Mark worked full time and
was mentored in the intricacies of complex litigation by the legendary trial
attorney John Howie, principal partner of the Dallas, Texas based firm Howie &
Sweeney. While working for Mr. Howie and assisting with several high-profile
trials, Mark accumulated several awards as a law student including being selected to
the Order of Barristers, winning the 1998 Hagar Moot Court Competition and the
1999 CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Even before Mark graduated from the
University of Tulsa School of law, he had already passed the Texas bar exam.
After graduating from law school, Mark continued to develop his trial skills by
serving as an Assistant Dallas County District Attorney under the renowned former
Dallas D.A. Bill Hill. In the first of many court room victories to come, in his first
week as an Assistant D.A., Mark won his first jury trial. In the more than two decades
since that first victory, Mark has served as lead counsel in over 250 trials and has
developed a well-earned reputation as one of the nation’s preeminent criminal
defense attorneys. Mark’s tenacious representation and zealous advocacy, as well as
his proven track record, has led to his being retained as defense counsel in some of
the nation’s most high-profile criminal cases.
Mark’s success as one of the nation’s preeminent criminal defense trial
attorneys has resulted in his being retained as consulting counsel in numerous
complex, high stakes civil litigation cases. Mark’s participation in these cases
rekindled a desire to return to his civil litigation roots and use his trial skills in the
representation of seemingly powerless clients who had been subjected to mistreatment
by all-powerful corporations.
In the execution of his vision, Mark founded REW’s Complex Litigation
Group. To ensure that REW’s Complex Litigation Group was world class and had the
firepower to vigorously represent REW clients in their war against some of the
world’s biggest corporate defendants, Mark invested significant resources and brought
in his old friend from Howie & Sweeney, Gabe Reed, to assist him as a non-attorney
Senior Litigation Consultant.
With a combined 50 years of complex litigation experience, in short order,
REW’s Complex Litigation Group has become engaged in prosecuting high-profile
business disputes, construction defect disputes, employment compensation and
discrimination actions, civil rights actions involving law enforcement abuse, complex
business litigation actions as well as actions involving automobile/truck crashes
resulting in personal injuries, permanent disabilities and death.
The REW Complex
Litigation Group has successfully litigated and resolved matters across the United
States in both Federal and State courts that have resulted in our clients receiving
millions of dollars in settlements and judgments.
